Dr. Jared Wesley is a “pracademic” -- a practicing political scientist -- with career experience that has ranged from government boardrooms to university classrooms. He is a Professor of Political Science and Associate Chair (Graduate Studies) for the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. His research and teaching concerns the intersection of political culture, political parties, and public policy. Additionally, Dr. Wesley is currently leading the Common Ground initiative - a research project helping to uncover the values that underpin politics in Western Canada and the American West.
